Kickboxing (16+ year old)

This specialized class is offered to individuals wanting only to learn the specific techniques associated with sport of kickboxing. This workout is highly aerobic and is high-impact. The workout enviroment strips away the traditional aspects of learning forms and focuses on fitness and fighting skills. This class is designed to give beginners exposure to the basics of kicking and punching as well as provide a level-appropriate workout to individuals who have had previous training. Participants can expect to train to levels which allow them to safely but effectively spar with others in this class. Specialized gloves, headgear, and attire are required for this class. This class is offered as a stand-alone class 1x per week for anyone who would like to sign up. This class can also be attended by students who are already active in the traditional class as part of their supplemental cirriculum.
